The game of poker is played with a number of players, typically six to eight. The amount of money bet on a hand is known as the “pot”. In a game of poker, any player can shuffle the cards, and the dealer is the last person to shuffle the cards. The dealer has the last right to shuffle the deck, but can be cut from the pile by anyone else.
